Consider serving it as a pre-game toast or throughout the event as a refreshing option. Sparkling wine pairs well with a variety of game day snacks like cheese plates, popcorn, and potato chips!

Rosé

Rosé is a versatile wine that pairs well with a variety of foods and is suitable for sipping throughout the day. Rosé is light, refreshing flavors make it a great choice to pair with a variety of starters like salads, shrimp cocktails, or grilled veggies.

Pinot Noir

Pinot Noir is a medium-bodied red wine that is known for its smooth, fruity flavors and its versatility with food. Pinot Noir pairs well with a wide range of foods, including chicken wings, nachos, and sliders.

Cabernet Sauvignon

Cabernet Sauvignon is a classic red wine and crowd favorite. It's a bold and full-bodied wine that can stand up to the flavors of game day food. Cabernet pairs well with savory foods like pizza, burgers, and wings.

Ultimately, the best wine to serve during March Madness is one that you and your guests will enjoy. Don't be afraid to try something new or serve a wine that you love, even if it doesn't fit the traditional wine and food pairings. Cheers to a great March Madness season!

Wondering what the proper serving and storing temperature is for wines?

If you have a temperature-controlled wine cellar or wine room, it takes some of the guess work out of storing wine properly. Your red wines can go right from your wine cellar to the table for the perfect temperature. Your white wines will require less time in the fridge to chill. A wine cellar, wine cabinet or wine room is ideal for long-term, wine storage and will ensure the best environment for aging.  Check out our blog here to learn more.
