Taking Wine Storage to New Heights
In 2019, Delta Air Lines opened a new Delta Sky Club® in Austin-Bergstrom International Airport in Austin, TX that elevates the travel experience. The lounge is a circular glass structure that sits above the new concourse and it’s got everything from local beers, artwork from regional artists, a curated wine list brought to you by Delta’s own Master Sommelier, and a climate-controlled wine storage courtesy of Vineyard Wine Cellars! It truly captures the warmth and local pride of its host city.
You will find the wine enclosure near the bar, of course. The backlit panels and rich walnut give the space a warm glow. About 200 bottles are split into dual zones for separate storage of reds and whites. The climates are controlled by Wine Guardian refrigeration systems that sit in specially designed ceiling wells above the wine cellar. A glass partition and curved glass doors complete the enclosures.
We are excited that folks coming to and from Austin on a daily basis can add a nice bottle of properly stored wine to their travel experience. Cheers!
