For over 20 years, Vineyard Wine Cellars (VWC) has been helping clients turn their wine storage vision into a reality. The idea to start a company, designing and building wine cellars, was born out of necessity back in 2002 when Bonnie and Gary Daniels were looking for a wine storage expert to assist them with a project. They were in the process of designing a new home and wanted to include climate-controlled wine storage. Researching the project quickly revealed a lack of specialized suppliers and contractors with an understanding of proper wine storage requirements. After extensive research, they were unable to find anyone to design and build their dream wine cellar. Fueled by their background in construction and love of wine they started VWC and never looked back.
In 2016 the Daniels’ children, Andy Daniels and Sarah Palmer, joined the company to continue the legacy their parents started. Their commitment to focusing on sound construction principles, superior customer service, deep industry expertise, and professionalism flows through every project they do. We have a dedicated team of experts, trained in wine cellar design and performance, who ensure each project is completed to the highest possible standards.
Today, VWC is a leader in what is now a thriving wine storage industry. We offer custom wine cellar design-build, semi-custom wine racks, and wine cellar refrigeration systems. We work with designers, contractors, and architects to help them design and build their client’s wine storage solutions as well as working directly with homeowners to bring their vision to life. Our experience includes designing and building nearly 3,000 custom wine cellars, spanning residential and commercial applications across the United States. A well-executed wine cellar considers design, planning, and proper construction. We take a holistic approach to each project to ensure all factors are taken into consideration and done right the first time.
